The background story comes from the printed issues of "Daring New Adventures of Supergirl" # 10, 11 and 12.  An evil Villain sponsors his mad-doctor to have the captured Supergirl cloned and wants her six miniature selves to eliminate Supergirl and possibly steal all of her shared tech. secrets at Superman's Fortress of Solitude.

This part shows the continuation of the conversation between Supergirl clone #5 and Mr. NinjaGuy ...

"Well, Number Five. It seems that you're now the de-facto leader of your group.
As to why you were cloned ... well ... I have a mission for you four against the Original One and...-"
-he is cut off instantly from the angry retorts of all four Gals of Future-Might.

"HEY! We will not harm our ..ah.. the Original Supergirl!" -shouts their nominal leader.

"We do not KILL! Not even for our freedom!" -shouts another.

"We won't ..-" "We shall not ..-"
-All four are cut off when the Minion shouts louder over their objections...

"YOU WON'T HAVE TO HARM YOUR 'MOTHER'. You just have to 'capture' her and convince her to surrender to you. OK...?"
-states a now smirking Minion looking at the four confused faces of the Girls of non-Might.

"OUR ... mom? Just capture her and ask to surrender...? And then what??"
-Inquires the impromptu leader as her confusion over him calling the original Supergirl as 'Mom' baffles her among her other 'sisters'.

"Yeah, and oh ... Hmmmmm. <Getting distracted by the noise & movement from the baby crib.>
Your baby sister is awakening, girls ...."
-replied the Minion as he sees the baby Supergirl finally awakening due to the constant & very loud verbal commotions & her now growling stomach demanding instant attention that she must be feed.

Her whimpers and attempts to climb out of her crib grabs the attention of all, especially the closest one whom heads toward the fridge near the crib where she hopes that there are some bottled milk for the baby.
