Ms. Mercy Grace Luthor is the Chauffeur, bodyguard, confidante to Linda Danvers Kent Luthor and overall trainer & teacher to the Lex Luthor Family Clan.

Ms. Mercy has a young daughter, Ms. Linda Mercy Luthor, her father is Lex Luthor, the dashing extraordinaire playboy whom often excelled at playing the field all over the world; while at home; he finally convinces Ms. Mercy to let her hair down and take a break from her self-imposed duty to protect him & to share some potent Champagne with him. However, both had gotten quite drunk that particular night and Ms. Mercy eventually became heavy with child with Lex.
Ms. Mercy knows that Lex still has a roving eye and does her best to protect him from himself but this time... ehhh... whoops.

Nine months later on, after Ms. Mercy gives birth to a red-headed daughter, she names her sucklin babe after Linda in honour of her best, cherished friend for what she did on that fateful night when she was on her last legs & lay dying in the wet, grimy gutters in the darken streets of Smallville and was found & rescued by Linda.
Linda Lee Kent thus becomes Linda Mercy Luthor's namesake's godmother, older pseudo-like-sister, babysitter & surrogate mother whenever Ms. Mercy's duties as bodyguard & chauffeur to Mr. Lex Luthor takes her away from home and her child.

-It was young Linda Lee Kent, whom finds Ms. Mercy already collapsed in the grimy wet street gutter and Linda had flagged down the dashing Lex Luthor in his fancy red car, they take the dying Ms. Mercy with them to his mansion where they get young Clark to bring their specially equipped rocket ship to heal Ms. Mercy's deteriorating & dying body and help her slowly recover from her nearly final death ordeal.

-As time passes and Linda nurses Ms. Mercy to health in Lex's Mansion on her freetime, there grows a bond of friendship and trusting love between the two that Ms. Mercy vow to replay back both to Lex whom took her in and Linda whom saved her.

-Ms. Mercy's health blossoms under her care and she grows up on Lex's Mansion Complex and eventually trains herself to become a tough, muscularly lean, mean fighting machine to become Lex's own personal bodyguard and also quietly trains & protects both Clark & Linda si that they can prepare themselves for the rough & tumble hostile environment of realLife that she had endured & experienced...

-When Linda inexplicably gains her extra five daughters thru that unknown madman's actions years ago, Ms. Mercy lends her tough love, her lively assistance & experiences and becomes the overall trainer, teacher & protector for the often bickering four daughters of might of Mrs. Linda Lee Kent Luthor & her large family.
